Windows 10: M110s USB mouse randomly disconnecting and reconnecting mostly in games

Recently started experiencing mouse disconnects and reconnects mostly in games, less often outside them. It happens every day at random, i don't even touch the mouse.I looked on the web for solutions, tried some things like updating, uninstalling, disabling device drivers and USB ports, changing ports. Seems a rare issue, becouse most posts are old or have a few comments.Disabled selective suspend in power plan, and unchecked device manager, to allow PC shutdown device. The first time i did that, the issue disappeared for half a day, but then came back a day later. I have not used system resto

USB Ports disconnecting and reconnecting mouse randomly

I've had a problem with my USB ports for a few weeks now. Sometimes the mouse disconnects and then reconnects randomly. This usually happens inside games but has also happened while I'm browsing. A few times both my keyboard and mouse disconnects and reconnects
but yesterday it got worse and both disconnected but didnt reconnect but the lights on the keyboard and mouse where still on.

After the first times it happened I updated windows (didn't fix problem). Then I tried going to device manager and power management on root hubs and deselecting "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" (didn't fix problem). I have also
tried going into the power plan and change USB settings to "USB selective suspend setting disabled" (didn't fix problem). I have uninstalled root hubs and restarted the computer (didnt fix problem). However I didn't uninstall every root hub or USB hub option
because I read that for some people the usb ports didn't work at all after that. I have tried the mouse on a different computer and it works without problems I have also tried different ports and both keyboard and mouse has been connected in the USB ports
on the back and the problem persists.

I read that a windows update (KB4074588) could be the problem but I could not find that update on my computer in the updates section under Programs and features.

Logitech g100s mouse disconnecting and reconnecting randomly


So my mouse recently started having this issue where it will disconnect and reconnect randomly for no apparent reason. I wasn't having this problem about a month ago and Windows 10 has been running flawlessly ever since my upgrade so it's weird that my mouse randomly decided to go "bad" now. I've owned this mouse for about a year and half so maybe it's just getting old, but like I said, this issue only started recently with no apparent reason. It doesn't happen super often but it's enough to get annoying (especially when gaming). I have the Logitech gaming software installed so the mouse drivers should be up to date (but even without the software installed I had the issue).
Anyone else having a similar issue?

 

USB devices disconnecting/reconnecting

Hello everyone!

Lately I've been experiencing a problem with my network adapter (and other USB devices along with it) disconnecting and reconnecting. And before anyone asks yes, I've searched whole internet upside down for answers and tried every possible fix that I could find but nothing worked (and yes, that includes the whole power saving and hardware troubleshooting thing).

The problem started out as my USB network adapter from Realtek infrequently and randomly disconnecting and then reconnecting few seconds later. Some time later it would disconnect all USB devices along with it. I'm not really an expert in network adapter field but I thought it could be because of the adapter (considering it was already quite old) so I went and bought new adapter.

However, even with new adapter the problem remains the same but now it's not randomly disconnecting but rather when downloading big files (for example video games) or even when listening to music on Deezer and I press skip one too many times. For example, yesterday I was updating games on steam and it was downloading and then it just stopped, followed by disconnecting sound and network adapter, mouse and keyboard not working but reconnecting few seconds later (I should also mention when the hiccup happens Chrome seems to stop responding until my computer is connected to the internet again). I tested current adapter on another computer (that is in the same room as router) and it worked without any problems so at least I know it's not because of adapter. After I got new adapter I also did clean install but the problem is very much the same.

Does anyone know a way to fix this problem? It's getting really annoying that I can't download anything without my internet along with all other devices disconnecting (especially 'cause my schoolwork is really computer and internet based).

EDIT: I've also experienced more than once that after my network adapter disconnects and disconnects mouse and keyboard with it, it takes longer for them to reconnect and when they reconnect they don't stay reconnect much longer before disconnecting again, rendering every USB connected device useless.
EDIT 2: I also seem to have started experiencing this problem when I switched motherboard few months ago due to old one being fried by PSU (I replaced both PSU and motherboard) so could it be motherboard's fault?
FINAL EDIT: Finally went and looked over whole motherboard and it looks like I've got faulty motherboard. Thanks everyone who tried to help with problem!
