Windows 10: M2 SSD disconnects while playing games from it

Hi, I had a M2 ssd for a year but only recently I started having an issue with it. While playing games from it the game crashes and I realized that it is because the drive seems to disconnect from my computer since it wont let me access any files in it and if a go to device manager and scan for hardware changes it disappears from the disk drives tab. The problem only fixed if i restart the PC, but it will happen again if I try gaming from it. I tried updating drivers and I installed the Kioxia ssd utility to search for error but it all seemed fine. To be clear, it doesn't disconnect instantan

Motherboard: Intel B560

Processor: i511400

OS: Windows 11

SSD: Western Digital 2TB

Windows won’t recognize me M2 SSD and I’m not sure why, I went to disk management and nothing. I went to the BIOS and it’s not showing there either. I used the cmd tool and put in the command’ disk list’, to no avail. Everything is tight and secure but nothing is popping up. Please advise.

M2 NVME SSD

So you think it truly is worth it to have windows installed on an M2 NVME SSD instead of installing it on a sata-600 ssd and installing your most important software on the M2 NVME SSD ?

 

m2 ssd errors event viewer

Hi all I have had a strange problem for 1 month and a half with a 500gb samsung 970 evo plus while I was playing cod the game froze (the game is downloaded on the m2) so I started investigating to understand the problem and I arrived to open the event viewer and here I found that the ssd was generating several errors so I thought it was broken and I download crystal disk info and samsung magician and both software report me that the ssd is in excellent condition even after a full scan performed by samsung magician, then i thought that the m2 slot of the motherboard was broken so i bought a m2 pcie express adapter and i inserted the ssd into the second pcie slot of the motherboard, so i booted cod again and after 3 minutes the game freezes, out of curiosity I also tried to play a different game of precise ace combat 7 and here too the game freezes and I had to forcefully shut down the pc. So later I thought it was a ssd problem so I mount it on a different pc with a msi b450 tomahawk ryzen 7 2700x and 16gb of crucial ram and downloaded several games to the ssd and they didn't cause me any freezes and worked fine. So I don't know maybe there is something in my configuration in windows causing this error. Any information would be greatly appreciated. My configuration is: ryzen 9 5900x cpu, asus x470-f motherboard, 32gb of patriot ram at 3733MT/s cl15 1.45 and an rtx 2080ti as gpu.
