  1. Ma Question is about RAM Supported by da pc

My Motherboard has 4 RAM slots, I Used all of them 2GB in every slot and the system settings tells me That 6.95GB Is only usable. But when I wrote the command in cmd it told me that da pc supports 32GB of RAM.Ma question is if I bought a 4GB RAM and Replaced one of my 2GB RAMs will the performance increase or it will stay tellin' me that 6.95GB Is Usable, and thanks.

    :)

  2. 2 questions about ram and support for boards.

I am up grading the ram in one board that has a dual channel dimm. The board supports 4gb but on qualified vendor list it shows ram support with ram that has 1gb or less. Bringing a total of 2g out of 4gb supported. Does the ram have to be on the vendor list for it to be stable? Or is it not a serious matter?

Another question (kind of a dumb question) is 1066 ram backwards compatible with 800 dimm slots? Or does the slot have to support 1066? I know about stability issues, I just want to know if it is even possible.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
