Windows 10: Macbook can't identify Microsoft Keyboard

I have the Wireless Microsoft Designer Keyboard uses a USB-A connector and I want connect it to my Macbook. The keyboard has a Portuguese layout but is non-standard because next to Left **** has the z key instead the usual < key.As the MacBook Pro only has 2 USB-C outputs, I am using a Dongle.When connecting the USB connector to the Dongle, already connected to the Mac, this message appeared:I pressed "Continue", but I couldn't get past the next menu:In my case it's the z key.I've tried everything I can think of. Microsoft Office Keyboard - Windows 10 identifies but hotkeys not functional

Thank you Deepak - the solutions you suggested have not helped. The Microsoft Office Keyboard is not currently listed on the Resolve unexpected Function (F1 - F12) or other special key behavior on a Microsoft keyboard
site. This is a shame because the keyboard has convenient dedicated function keys that are focussed on doing work rather than playing media or games!

I hope (as with MS Windows 8) that MS release a driver update OR another user identifies a work-around.

Until then myself and other users will probably stick with 8.

1. Are you aware of any changes made prior to this issue?
   

One of the things I would suggest you is to try connecting the device to a different computer and see if that helps.
