Windows 10: Macrium image of 9 GB taking too long duration to delete

Discus and support Macrium image of 9 GB taking too long duration to delete in Windows 10 Backup and Restore to solve the problem; I am manually deleting the Macrium image of 9 GB from my pendrive but is taking too long to delete.     I am manually deleting the Macrium image of 9 GB from my pendrive but is taking too long to delete. Already 20 minutes passed but no sight of getting it delete.

    How long does it take to create Windows 10 Pro recovery image?

    It takes Macrium Reflect 9 minutes to image my 24 GB system partition. The image is stored on an attached USB hard drive.

    (My system partition has Windows 10 and all my installed software.)

    Win 10 Systems Image Back Up Time Taken

    I don't use Windows System Image - I use Macrium Reflect. It takes just under 10 minutes to make a full image of my C: drive, with about 92 GB of data, but that includes verifying the image afterwards. I write image files to an attached USB 3.0 drive.

    But take that with a grain of salt. There are lots of hardware and software variables that affect how long it takes to write an image. Also, I don't have to do a full backup every time. I could save time by making incrementals.
