Windows 10: Magnification on large monitors defaulting to 125%

We are in the process of replacing several Win7 workstations with Win10. Each station has 2 4k displays and 2 2k displays. Windows 10 (Ent LTSB) automatically sets the magnification on the two 4k displays at 125%. This setting causes problems with the primary application on the workstation. To further compound the issue that setting is unique per user and I have 16 users who rotate through 12 of these workstations. That is a total of 192 manual interventions. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to resolve this by Group Policy, Registry, Powershell, or VB script.


I can work with something that stops the behavior, or something that modifies the user settings when they login.

Magnification Below 125% (Between 101 - 124%)

Hi, I am looking into the windows magnification api and I have been playing around with it, but I have a problem the magnification defaults, Windows only allows you to increments in 25%'s at the lowest. Is it possible for me to increase this perhaps 1-5%
at a time?

Magnification

I can't get the magnification on my computer reduced from 200%. I have tried going to "settings," "ease of use" and turning off the magnification option, but the magnification option is still at 200%. Any other suggestions?

I changed from100% screen magnification to 125% (not recommended) and now cannot change back. All instructions on net and Microsoft do not work. nothing appears as before with the slider, the magnifier does not adjust, stuck at 125%, will not function.
