Windows 10: Mail and Calendar notification setting missing

hi

I dont receive the notification from my reminder setted from time/calndar try icon.

system -> notification and action -> mail and calendar Missing option !
system -> privacy -> background apps -> mail and calendar Activated

i tryed uninstall and reinstall mail an calendar from microsoft store, but the problem is still there.

the problem seem related to notification setting missing from mail and calendar app.

any help please ?

Windows calendar and mail missing in notification settings

Hi,

For us to help you with your concern, we'd like to know more information. Kindly answer the following questions:

• On Windows 10 settings, under Default apps, are you using the Mail app as your Email default app?
  
• Using your Mail app, under Notifications, do you have these kind of settings? (See reference photo below.)

Meanwhile, we suggest that you check this
article and see the section that says Turn off notifications for all calendar events. Check the fourth step and make sure to follow the steps on it. On
Play a sound section, under Advanced sound settings, on the
Sound tab, look for New Mail Notification. Make sure to add a Sound from the selection and click OK.

Mail not showing notifications


I am not getting toast or action center notifications for Mail app, although in the Mail app settings, I have notifications enabled.
In Windows settings, "notifications & actions", both the mail app and the calendar app are missing from the list.
I have not set up the calendar app, but I did set up the mail app with my gmail account, and aside from notifications, it seems to be working properly.

Make Outlook show calendar notifications in the Windows 10 notification bar

we can set the account up in Windows Mail app, turning off sync for mail and contacts.

Calendar reminders will use the Windows reminder system and display prominently in the corner of your screen, on top of any open programs.





Please refer to the steps below:

1. Add your Exchange account to Mail app. Win 10 will automatically configure this account on Calendar App too.
   
2. Open Start > Settings > System > Notification&Actions.
   
3. Turn on notifications for Outlook and Calendar but turn off the option for Mail.
