Windows 10: Mail app account setting going out of date over and over - Very frustrating

I receive messages for my mail app every single day and sometimes multiple times a day and all of my accounts linked to the mail app are out of date. I then need to confirm the email and password every time. This is so frustrating. What is wrong with this app? I have reset the mail app multiple times but the problem was not fixed. Even tried to uninstall and install again. Not fixed. How can i resolve this thing once and for all.

Cannot open mail app settings


OK, my next suggestion was going to be uninstalling Mail and Calendar and reinstalling from the Windows Store. You can have a go at this by following these steps.

1. Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell.
2. Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
3. Enter the below command to remove the Mail and calendar app.

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app from the Windows Store.

Hope this helps, you will, of course, have to add you accounts back again.
