Mail app disappears after one day

Hi there,I'm using Windows11 on a XPS desktop. When I tried to download the Mail and Calendar app from the Microsoft app store, it could work and I could add my three email accounts2 outlook and 1 gmail However the app would just disappear after some time around one day. It seems to just automatically uninstalls it self after a while. When I search it in the app store it shows again. This issue is pretty annoying as I have to download again and again. I'm used to this app and I don't want to switch to other email apps. Could you help me identify the issue? I'm logging in the Windows11 deskto

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Mail app disappears after one day :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    windows mail app emails disappeared

Suddenly my e-mails for the past two days have disappeared. They were in the 'inbox' then suddenly the most recent date was two days earlier, I looked in the 'deleted' folder and they are not there, nor at they in any other folder. There are some important messages that I would like to recover. Is it possible?

thanks in advance for any suggestions

    Hey Shawn,
I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
