    Hi,


    I have two Gmail Accounts connected to the Windows 10 Mail App. Let's call them A and B. I've had A connected to the app for a few years, but connected B a year or so ago, but I don't often send emails from that one. Today, I needed to send an email from B, so I sent it, only to later realize that the name it shows is the one that's on A. I double checked the email, but the email is B while the name is A. I tried to send a test email from my phone's gmail app, and the name and email was B, but when I sent a test email from the Windows App, it shows A name and B email again, so the problem is in the app, not in the gmail account, which I already checked.

    Windows 10 Mail app - don't show account name on left

    Hello, I'm setting up a new W10 laptop for my mum.

    In the standard Mail app I've linked her IMAP account successfully.

    The name of the account (with unread messages count) shows on the left pane, above the list of folders.

    Is it possible to hide the account name from the left pane? She only has one account and keeps clicking the account name instead of the inbox.

    Hi,

    • Are you referring to the default Windows Mail App?
    • If yes, then what exactly happens when you click on the 6th account? Do you see any error message or nothing happens?
    Meanwhile, I suggest you to remove the account and re-add it and check if you are bale to access your 6th account via Windows 10 Mail App. This doesn’t delete the original account or messages—you’ll still be able to get
    to them through a browser or another mail app.
