Windows 10: Mail app issue

Mail app isn't allowing me to update password or even remove account. I can click edit settings all day long and get nothing. don't want to reinstall over mail app

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

I suggest you to follow the below path and check:

• 
  Right click on the Task bar on the desktop.
  
• 
  Select Properties and click on
  Customize from Notification area.
  
• 
  Under Show notifications from these apps, try to turn off
  Mail.
  

Alternatively,I also suggest you to follow the steps below:

• 
  Type Mail app in the search box to open
  mail app.
  
• 
  Click on Settings.
  
• 
  Under settings click on Options.
  
• 
  Under notification Enable
  Show in action center.
  
• 
  Under notification Enable
  Show a notification banner.

Many people are facing issue with Gmail. I am also getting the Gmail error 007
