Windows 10: Mail app won't print

In the last couple of days the Mail app has stopped printing, probable since the recent app update. The problem occurs with Mail on both my desktop and tablet. It won't print to either of our two printers. The printers are working, both will print a test page. I can print an email to "Microsoft Print to PDF" and can then print the PDF. Edge and print.


Just Mail refuses to print.


When I try to print from Mail I don't get any error messages, there is no notification and the print queue is empty. Nothing, nada.


How to fix? Or, is there another update to Mail and Calendar coming that will fix the problem?

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows 10 Mail app won't print some messages

using the Windows PowerShell. To do this, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click Start, type Windows PowerShell, right-click on it, then select
  Run as administrator.
• Enter the command below:
  • Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage, then press
    Enter.

Once done, we suggest that you download theWindows 10 Mail and Calendar app from the
Windows Store.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
