Windows 10: Mail doesn't notify in the Action Centre since 1511 (KB3122947)

I was having the common problem updating to KB3122947, where it would simply fail to install. As far as I know, there were a few ways to resolve this, and I found the top answer here worked. Ever since, I've not been getting Mail notifications in the action centre, besides the fact that no settings have changed and I've checked both in the Windows settings and in Mail settings that they are enabled to notify.

Does anyone know of anything that I could try?

Problems with the Action Centre.

For some reason the Action Centre keeps notifying me about the same electronic-mails, in fact sometimes it seems as if I've received a dozen electronic-mails while in fact they are the exact same mail, then the action centre keeps ''getting white''. Other
issues include just randomly activating, but these go away after I actually do the thing I'm notified about...

 

Windows 10 mail notification; not notifying in the ACTION CENTRE.

I have noticed for quite some time that there was a delay or no notifications showing in the
ACTION CENTRE

Going into Settings; Accounts; Email & app accounts and click on the account in question;





Then click on Manage;





The following window will appear; click on Change mailbox sync settings;





This will open the following window; I made two changes, Download new content from "based on my usage" to "as it arrives" and the Download email from "the last month" to "any time";





Outlook sync settings now look like this;





After these amendment; I immediately had a mail notification in the ACTION CENTRE.

A few of us have been having this issue since 10 was released, no fix for it yet
