Windows 10: Mail for windows 10 - has just stopped working.

Mail for windows 10 has just stopped working. Comes up with dialogue box saying it is no longer supported. I have got emails back in outlook but seem to have lost the folders I had created in Mail for windows 10. Is there any way to get the folders back?

• As you mentioned, "My Windows 10 Mail has stopped working", do you mean Windows 10 Mail App?

  Do you see any error message?

  The account you are facing issues with, is that the only and primary account configured in Windows 10 Mail App or it is an additional account?
  

If additional account, then I suggest
remove the account and reconfigure it, and check the behavior. This doesn’t delete the original account or messages—you’ll still be able to get to them through a browser.

and check if you are able to access your contacts from web based interface.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
