    Version 16005.14326.20970.0 of the built in mail app. The search result is very bad and is not what I am looking for. One of the "top results" give an email from 2016, which is very odd and does not help me in anyway. The feed back button also do not work - MS blocks all ways of providing feed back, what a joke.

    Your account settings are out of date - Mail App Error

    I have been having this problem for weeks, ever since Microsoft did an update. I have followed all the trouble shooting steps mentioned. I have removed the mail app and reloaded. I get this error message sometimes 15 times a day on both my email accounts
    that I have linked. The mail app version 16005 13110 41006 0

    Search does not yield any results

    The title says everything. Searching in the filed called "Search Windows" does not give any files. Nothing! Blank window. I rebuilt the index, moved it to another disk, rebuilt again without any result.

    Cortana is off and web searching is off. Even if web searching is on, there are no search results in the window.

    I ran Windows search and indexing troubleshooter. It started indexing service.

    Indexing complete.

    Included locations:

    Start menu

    Users - AppData; AppData

    *.* in the search window does not yield anything.
