Windows 10: Mail

Hi,I just got a Gateway laptop and I am trying to sync all of my emails to the mail app. I used a Gmail email for my Microsoft account and it says it’s linked to my mail, but I don’t see any of my emails from that account and I’m not receiving new ones. I successfully added my school email and can see previous emails and receives new ones, but whenever I try to link any other email I receive an error 0x80070490 immediately after the “send your messages using this name” screen. I’ve seen other forums of people having a similar issue, and I’ve went through all my settings and allowed the app to

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
