Windows 10: Mailbox app display !

Good morning, I have noticed for a few weeks now that I do not get any notifation on my Windows Mailbox/Calendar app. If I open the mailbox up I get the banner and audio alert in the Action centre bottom right. My incoming mail then arrives into the app. I use to get the details of the incoming mail on the tile itself but not now ! Tried resetting the app and everything turned on in the settings etc. When I first started using this app all my incoming mail would show on the tile but not now. If I didn't actuallly open the app up I would not be aware of any mail awaiting me unlike before !

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

• Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
• Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
• Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
• Click on your account and select Change settings.
• Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.

If the issue persist, follow the below step.

Step 2:

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the mail app, reconfigure the email account in mail app and check if the mail app is working properly.

Follow the below steps to uninstall the Mail and Calendar apps.

• Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.
• Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select
  Run as administrator.
• Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and calendar app.

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

Note: After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app form the Windows store.

Mailbox sequencing

I'm accessing my mailboxes via Windows 10 Mail. I have five email accounts that I monitor/use. Right now, my "primary" email address/mailbox is showing up as the last one in the list of five in the left pane.

I'd like to have my primary show up at the top of the list.

I used to use MSN mail and that sorted them according to the mailbox display name so I was able to display my primary first by simply naming it "Don" (none of the others were named higher in the alphabet) but that doesn't seem to be the case in Windows 10
Mail.

 

Mail App Mailbox size or history limit?

there is no outlook account settings dialog box change mailbox sync settings ( as indicated in step 4 in my version of Outlook for Android installed 9/11/17. I tried Reset Account - but got the same result

i want to display at least a month of email without having to keep selecting Load More Messages - and even the Load More Messages stopped displaying to soon.
