Windows 10: Mailbox apps!!!

Hi again, I honestly don't know where to start! I have used the Calendar/Mailbox app for a long time now with my two accounts yahoo/outlook. Despite all the problems I have had with this app to me it is great when working ok. After ironing out the "alert" problems everything seemed to be working ok! About 3/4 days ago I removed my yahoo account and now can't put it back! I have tried different passwords but no joy. My main yahoo account works fine with the new Edge browser, but I miss the alerts etc which comes with the Mailbox app. I have tried Thunderbird and one or two others but not for

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

• Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
• Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
• Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
• Click on your account and select Change settings.
• Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.

If the issue persist, follow the below step.

Step 2:

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the mail app, reconfigure the email account in mail app and check if the mail app is working properly.

Follow the below steps to uninstall the Mail and Calendar apps.

• Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.
• Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select
  Run as administrator.
• Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and calendar app.

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

Note: After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app form the Windows store.

Perform the following steps on your device, which includes built-in Email client:

• Select Menu
• Select Email
• Select Settings
• Select Mail for Exchange
• Select Options
• Select Remove mailbox
• Select Yes

Since the Email application is built-in on the device, there is nothing to uninstall. The only necessary steps is to remove the mailbox.

As per the description above I would suggest you to follow the steps below and Change Mailbox sync settings from the mail app and check if its working fine.

  Open Mail App and click on the Settings icon.

  Now, click on Account and then select your account.
  
• 
  Click on Change Mailbox Sync Settings.
  
• 
  Click onDownload New Contents
  and selectAs item arrives.
