My monitor recommends my displace scale to be set to 100%, but that's too far zoomed out compared to the 125% I use. I know it's zoomed out because everything is blurry and comparing it to my laptop screen, the monitor is very zoomed out.https://imgur.com/a/GAeJW1k

  2. Laptop screen does not remember display scaling before and after using an external monitor.

I have a Dell laptop running Windows 10.

When I am using the laptop standalone, meaning it isn't plugged into an external monitor, I set the screen display scaling to 100%.

Then I plug in an external monitor and set the display scaling to 125%.

When I unplug the external monitor, or reboot without the external monitor connected, the display scaling is still set to 125%.

I want it to automatically revert to the display scaling it was before the external monitor.

    Is that possible?

  3. Surface pro 4 Dock Scaling problems

I use the dock for working with an external monitor Iiyama 1920 x 1080 who i just have bought for use with the surface.

The main problem is wrong scaling.

The monitor is connected with the dock with a mini-display to HDMI cable.

In Windows 10 the scaling settings are as recommended: 200% for the surface, 100% for the monitor.

Sometimes the scaling on the external monitor is correct, often it isn't.

F.i. Using the edge browser the scaling is correct for the main window but when edge is given suggestions for an adress, this box is scaled 200%.

F.i. Using Excel 2016 rarely scales correct, often it is scaled 200% or sometimes zoomed out. PowerPoint and Word 2016 mostly scale 200%. Restarting or displaying the program from one screen to the other and back does't help.

I've tried changing display scaling settings but this doen's solve the problem.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Display Resolution and Scale are correct, Looks zoomed in

I've checked the display resolution and the scale in the display settings of my PC and on my graphics card, the resolution matches my monitor, 1280 by 800, and the scale is set to only 100%, however the display is cutting off alot of the screen near the edges, it all looks zoomed in. I've checked and my monitor settings don't have anything to fix this, and I only have one monitor connected.
