Windows 10: Maintenance fix going up to 10+ hours

All these months I had a problem with getting a blue screen a lot of times, but today wanted to look if i Could fix the problem and i found a critical error and i started to restart my computer, at first everything was good, but after some Time fixing got stuck on "Fixing D: Stage 1: 21%" the numbers are still going 1 every 2 secs 110369 of 503808, but every 2 secs the ETA goes up few mins atm 11:50:06 and its not going down just up, so i dont know what should i do ? Will it ever stop ? Should i wait ? Or do something ?

Method 1: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with system. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your System
Maintenance.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the System Maintenance troubleshooter.

Method 2: Place your computer in clean boot state and check if it helps.

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

windows 10 does not go to sleep or shut down

• What is the make and model of the computer?

I would suggest you to follow these steps and try to run the Power troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X on the keyboard.
• Click on Control panel.
• Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Control panel
  search box.
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.
• Click on Power troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

I would also suggest you to run the System maintenance troubleshooter by following the above steps.

How to disable automatic maintenance permanently?

In Windows 8.1, you could open the task scheduler and browse to the location: Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Windows > Task Scheduler. You could then eventually, disable
Idle Maintenance & Regular Maintenance. But in Windows 10, these entries are not listed.

In this case, I would suggest you to send your feedback using the Feedback App in Windows 10. To open the feedback app:

• Open Start menu.
• Type Feedback and hit Enter
• Follow the prompts
