    Weird Discrepancies in Backup Disk Space?

    (So) do you mean the used space on your Windows partition, the size of the partition used for 'C:', the sum of all partitions comprising your O/S (excluding data partitions) or something else?

    Best way to answer that: post a screenshot of your partitions using a 3rd party partition manager thus:

    (So) turning to your disk image.
    Exactly how did you create the disk image?

    For example, a disk image that is typically used will be a compressed copy of the used space of the partitions imaged, and so the file will be smaller than the sum of the used space imaged.

    But you can create a 'forensic' image- that's all space of all partitions imaged. That will be significantly larger.

    Lots of detail needed.

    What did you image, and how? Another screenshot would be helpful. Thanks.

    • Select Storage and click on Disk Management.
