Windows 10: Make a Microsoft Eco-System with a Microsoft Phone

Dont let this go as a time wasting suggestion. Lets be analytical here. Apple is doing great because of their Eco-System and yes I know Microsoft tried making phones but they failed. Yet there is a huge community that still loves them. The biggest problem with the Windows Phones WP was lack of software support and development. That was the only issue. Other than that everything about them was absolutely beautiful.Now lets imagine a world where there are great performing Windows phone with great software support. As a business person it would be a dream come true. Having windows laptops in my

Toshiba eco Utilities

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



The Eco mode is a feature available on selected Toshiba systems and needs Toshita Eco utility to work.

I suggest to remove the utility from the computer and install the latest one available on
System manufacturer's support site

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
   
2. Type APPWIZ.CPL and hit the
   Enter key.
   
3. Look for Tochiba eco utility, select it and click on
   Uninstall.
   
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to get the program uninstalled.
   
5. Reboot the computer, download the latest version of the utility from above link and follow the instructions given on the same page to install it.

Microsofts Activation services phone #?

So I had an old rig that was running a RETAIL version of Win XP Home. Well the thing died. I want to use the product key from that old machine to do a win 7 upgrade, however, I cannot seem to find Microsoft's support number anywhere on their site, instead it redirects me to a page and here's what it says:

Well guess freakin what, THE COMPUTER IS DEAD, THEREFORE I CAN NOT DO ANY OF THOSE DAMN THINGS!!!!!!! *Bang Head :banghead:

This is seriously getting on my nerves!

Even googling it takes me to the same place. Does anyone have the number for their "Activation services" department?

 

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
