Windows 10: Make custom background apply to all with an option

There should be an option where you can select the different wallpapers to each of the virtual wallpapers. When I applied a background, I thought I was just done and nothing else was needed. However, only the one that I had the Personalization settings open, got the background. It hopefully shouldn't be too hard to implement. Just a dropdown menu where there is the Virtual Desktop names and a browse button for the image selection.

Custom desktop background that updates daily

We loved your suggestion to have a a background with a countdown for an specified date. We can consider this suggestion for future updates. To give you another option, we suggest to use Windows spotlight instead. Kindly follow the steps below to configure
it:

• Open Settings app.
• Click on Personalization
• Click on Lockscreen tab at the left panel.
• Under Background, select Windows spotlight.
• Under Choose an app to show detailed status, select
  Calendar app icon.

Note: Please make sure that you are logged in to Calendar app where the appointments was set.

In Windows 10, is there a way to customize an application's window background?

This option under the Theme settings is available. Please follow the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel and click "Change the theme" under
  Appearance and Personalization.
• Click on Color and scroll down to High contrast settings.
• On this page you have the option to choose and customize your preferred by
  choosing a theme.
• After choosing a theme, you the option to change Text, Hyperlinks, Disabled Text, Selected Text, Button Text and the Background.
• Click on "Apply".

Windows Mail app background bug

Sorry, not sure what you mean. I was talking about choosing a background through the "Browse" button and then repeating that step again with another background. In that case the Mail app won't apply that 2nd background.
