Windows 10: Make MP4 audio open in audio player not video player on Windows 10

The default video player for windows 10 was blank in settings. All of the videos opened in Movies & TV. I am having an issue where picture and audio files take a long time to open. So, I changed the default apps for those file types to see if they opened quicker. I noticed that a default app was not listed for video, so I choose Movies & TV and now all of the MP4 music on my computer is associated with the Movies & TV app and not the Groove Music app. And the MP4 music displays like video files instead of like music files.How can I remove the default app for the video player and ha

A New Mp4 Player.

I'm gonna buy a new Mp4 player. Suggest me some good ones, I personally like the Sony NWZ-F and Cowon iAudio 10.

If there are any good or better please suggest!

Audio out of sync in video Windows 10

• Are you facing this issue with particular video file or all the video files?
  
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving this issue.

Note: The steps mentioned below are applicable to Windows Media player only.

Make sure “Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized”

1. Open Windows Media Player.

2. Click on Tools and then on Options

3. Switch to Performance tab.

4. Ensure that a check is next to the "Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized" and "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" options.

5. Click "Apply" and click "OK."

Restart Windows Media Player and open a video file. Ensure that the audio and video are in sync.

No Audio For MP4 Video Files

I have no audio for select mp4 files, downloaded from a coaching website I subscribe to. They won't play on any player (WMP, VLC, Realplayer). I've tried K-Lite codecs with no luck. Audio is fine on all other video files. And I downloaded the video files
with multiple download apps.
