Windows 10: Make sites load faster

Have had a Ideapad 3 16IAH7 for almost a 3 months now and since last month it gotten very slow especially when it came yo loading up sites and the content on said site which used to once load up instantly but now takes it sweet time loading up. I have done most of the generic suggestions like getting rid of animations.Got any ideas out there?

  Have you tried using different browsers?
  

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

1. Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

4. Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

(I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier)

Internet Explorer Not Loading Sites on Windows 10 Pro

As you mentioned that the websites are loading in other browsers, suggest you to add the website in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persists:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Type the address and press Enter.

3. Click on the Gear icon in top left corner and select Compatibility View Settings from the list.

4. Click on Add and Close.

5. Re-type the website address and press Enter.
