Windows 10: Make this my main screen changes for all users if one user changes

Hi, There are three users in our house using our Dell XPS 15 with extended monitor Dell U4320Q. Requirement:1 When I log in, I want my laptop to be my main display.2 When my son logs in, he wants the extended monitor to be his main display. Explanation of Problem:The above requirement is restrictive as when I log in, I make my laptop screen main display by going to Display Settings. However, when my son logs in and changes his main display to extended monitor, it changes the main display for all, even when he logs off.That has been a bit annoying given when I log in, I see that I have to spe

• Press Windows logo + R keys to open the run command, type
  netplwiz and click on Ok.
• On the Users tab, click on Properties to change the user name and then click on

Are both the accounts are admin account?

I would suggest you to go through the below steps:

Steps: To determine the user account type:

• 
  Login to any account.
  
• 
  Press Windows key+X.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on User accounts.
  
• 
  Your user account will show and below that it will show your local account or admin account.
  
• 
  Once you know about the account type.
  
• 
  You can go to user account and change the name.
  
• 
  Press Windows key+R.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press enter.
  
• 
  Select the account and click on properties.
  
• 
  Change the user name and click on apply and then ok and one more time click on ok on the main screen.

  Reboot the computer and check if it helps
