Windows 10: Making a Win 11 Home PC bootable from a USB drive

Win 11 Home installed on a new Lenovo ThinkBook. I want to be able to run utilities off a bootable USB drive. I have turned off Bitlocker drives confirmed as unencrypted, turned off Secure Boot and enabled USB booting in the UEFI BIOS but the PC still ignores the bootable USB and starts the Windows OS. How do I get USB booting to work? Note: although I have enabled USB booting, it still does not appear in the booting options menu.

Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

 

Ipod bootable drive?

I want to know if I can make my ipod a usb bootable drive.. will it mess up my ipod? I need to flash my video card back to normal.. Neros bootable cd gave me an error. I used a step by step guide, but thats another story.

 

Is it possible to make a bootable macOS USB in a Windows 11 PC?

Creating Mac bootable USB on Windows PC is a tricky task and there are very less software available for this purpose. According to Google suggestion, UUByte DMG Editor is currently the best app to make bootable macOS USB on a Windows 11 PC. What's more convenient is that it also provides a download link for macOS dmg files.

Now just install UUbyte DMG Editor on your Windows 11 and then add macOS dmg files to create a macOS bootable USB. Finally, boot your Mac from the USB and clean install macOS on it. For the complete steps, please refer to online tutorial:

Really appreciated with your suggestion, Rian114. Never thought it could be easy like this. I managed to create a Ventura bootable disk and successfully made a clean install. Now, everything works fine on this MacBook Air.
