Windows 10: Making Google Translate work with Microsoft Edge Chromium

Is it anyhow possible to make translation popups of Google translate work in Edge Chromium?

Edge, like all the other Chromium derivatives, doesn't handle double tapping/double touch which is the key to select a word and thus bring up the translation popup. Thinking in mouse gestures, this is the same as double click.

I was using Windows 10 in tablet mode to test this (with a touchscreen).

1. As you’ve mentioned “if I try to install any usefull app it doesnt work !, what happens when you try to install the app?
   
2. Have you tried installing the apps from different browser?
   
3. If yes, what is the error code/error message you’ve received while trying to download from Edge browser?
   
4. Are you referring to any specific app or is this happening with all the applications?
   
5. Which build version of Windows is installed on the PC?

I suggest you to refer the article Use Microsoft Translator
in Edge browser on how to use Translator in Edge browser.

I also suggest you to add the Extension in Edge
browser and check the status of the issue.

PUNJABI in translate List missing in new Window 10 Microsoft Edge (e) Bing.com

In new (Window 10 Microsoft Edge (e) Bing.com In translate languages list it does not show my Language "PUNJABI", But i had in GOOGLE chrome translate list PUNJABI as translate language.Please add in the list of BING.COM (Edge/Microsoft) PUNJABI as translate
language, it is important for my work i use everyday and there are 40 Million Punjabi Language user worldwide

 

Microsoft Translator for Microsoft Edge in Windows 10

Hi, I need an answer to this that will work.

I use MS Translator for Edge quite a bit, and it has worked damn well for many months. It suddenly, today, 20th Sept, stopped working. It no longer appears in the Address Bar when a document in a foreign language opens, and no longer translates. I have
tried restarting Edge, but this has no effect. I download Translator again, installed it and restarted Edge, but this has no effect. What steps must I take to make Translator operate again.
