Windows 10: Making Labels in Word with Excel document

Hello,

I'm trying to make raffle tickets in Word2016. I have the tickets created and designed how I would like dimension-wise. I have created a "label" mail merge which successfully duplicated all the tickets. I created an Excel2016 file with the numbers 100-350 and saved it. When I use this file to create the ticket numbers Select Recipient and Insert Merge Field I get the file added but it only adds number 107 to ALL the tickets rather than 100-350. I have recreated using a blank labels template and the numbers do show up correctly on there so I'm confident that it's not the Excel file. Each raffle ticket must list the ticket number twice on main ticket and on rip-off portion. I have tried inserting a table and creating the tickets there. I have tried putting the ticket number into a text box on each ticket and tried without a text box. It's always listing #107. Any other tips to get the number sequence to come out correctly?

PRINTING LABEL IN WORD FROM AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET

We are trying to print labels in word from a spreadsheet in Excel. We have tried copying the spreadsheet to a recipient list but can not get it to work. Is there a way to import the spreadsheet and not retype the information?

 

Word and Excel documents are slow to open in Windows 10

in my case, I don't need to restart windows. Closing cortana completely will make opening word and excel files fast like usual.

Have the same problem, here are my conditions:

- Windows 10 Professional x64.

- Office 2007 Ultimate.

- Opening Word and Excel documents is slow when Word/Excel not currently open/running.

- Opening the Word/Excel document with Word/Excel already open is fast/normal.

Solution is the same as reported:

1) Disable Cortana.

2) Restart Windows.

Step 2 is very important.
