Windows 10: Malfunction of DTMB BDA TV USB

Hi guys, I am a new user of Windows 10 which just updated to it from Windows 7 few days ago...

Well, I have bought a wireless mouse (CLiPtec brand), but I realized that it doesn't work or fit with Windows 10. I tried to troubleshoot the device but it ended up with "DTMB BDA TV USB has a driver problem". I also opened the device manager and made sure that the DTMB BDA TV USB is up-to-date. But, still, the problem never gone.




I opened the properties of DTMB BDA TV USB in Device Manager and it tells me that the device cannot start (Code 10).




Can anyone please tell me the solutions? I tried to search the newest update for DTMB BDA TV USB (For Windows 10) in Google, but it end up with no result (there are only Windows 8 and below..).*Huh


PS : I tried uninstalled the DTMB BDA TV USB and plugged in again the USB of the mouse. The mouse can move for the starting seconds, but soon, it can't be function anymore.

You are speaking about a CLiPtec mouse, but also about a DTMB BDA TV USB.

Are the problems of these two devices connected?

A normal mouse should also work without installing special drivers. So I would basically try uninstalling the mouse driver and see, if that helps. Note that Windows 10 by default will search for new drivers through WIndows Update and if it finds some, then it will install them automatically. If that happens, you should deactivate automatic driver installation.

 

At first, it detected the mouse driver.. But after few seconds, the mouse driver gone, and it showed me that DTMB BDA TV USB need troubleshoot, as shown as the pictures I have posted. I have uninstalled the mouse driver and reinstall, but it still have the same problem. Is it because Windows 10 have problem with DTMB BDA TV USB??

 

I think the two problems are not connected - it's only the same Windows Tool, which shows them to you.

To start with the mouse driver: Who is the manufacturer of the mouse? And what is the exact model name? What is the driver version, which you are using for that mouse?
Please answer the three questions above!

Note that you should uninstall, but not re-install the mouse driver. The mouse should then use one of Microsoft's default mouse drivers; it should then be recognized as something like HID-conforming Mouse or Basical Mouse or so.

I bet the mouse is a knock-off brand that has VID 0x1234 and PID 0x5678, right? (Visible under Device Manager -> Properties -> Details tab -> Hardware Ids.)

So Windows loads the wrong drivers because lots of manufacturers use these bogus ID numbers, including the "DTMB BDA TV USB". (Does anyone know what that is, by the way? VID 0x1234 is officially registered to Brain Actuated Technologies, Inc. so I think DTMB BDA TV USB's IDs are bogus, too.)
