    Malware damaged BIOS. Keyboard won't work even in BIOS


    Somehow this program made its way into my Lenovo Y545 Windows 10 with dual boot into Ubuntu and it broke my BIOS. Keyboard stopped working and dual boot got messed up.I managed to install an update, fixed the dual boot but still no response from keyboard. Had to go out and buy a cheap one that does work in the BIOS and in both OSs.The program is obviously malign. Look at the typos, but I either haven't found where it resides or I already deleted it. Windows Defender says everything is fine.I've already restarted the computer, updated the BIOS, disconnected keyboard from motherboard, checked

    access BIOS settings in Win 10

    I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
    series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?
