    Malware message 877-677-9243


    My mom is out of town visiting my Grand parents and their PC just got infected with some malware so I'm trying to help them out. She said there is a message that pops up when she logs on numbers “877-677-9243”. Just wondering if someone can help me remove it. The only anti-virus and malware app they have is Windows Defender.

    A number came up on my windows 10 screen to contact a Microsoft tech to address a malware problem The number is 877-677-9243....is this a Microsoft tech support number?????

    Tell then not to call any phone number's or click on anything.

    Have them install the free version of MBAM and run a scan.
    Make sure they use the free one and not a trial.
