    Malware on My Computer


    Hi Community,


    I have a very persistent virus on my computer masquerading as a web browser and PDF reader. I was hoping someone here would be able to help me with removing this and preventing it from returning again. This malware constantly changes my personal preferences multiple times a day in regards to my preferred web browser and PDF viewer and and has managed to get reinstalled constantly despite repeated attempts to remove it.


    Can anyone from the Microsoft Team help me?

    Did our Epson printer get hacked?

    Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
