    Malware/Spyware Support Scam [​IMG]So, i have a serious problem... Someone, anyone... PLEASE help me!!! My computer is locked and i cannot click off the page to do anything to fix this problem. I realize this is a scam and i have not given any information or called the number as i know its not real, but what can i do???

  2. malicious pornographic spyware alert

    That's a fake alert/warning pop up, usually with a phone number to call. It's a so called Tech Support Scam.

    It does not necessarily mean that your computer is infected and those pop ups are in general easy to close.

    What really helps is the use of a good browser together with a good advertisment etc blocker and a good Anti-Virus program.

    Personally I use Firefox, uBlock Origin, Emsisoft Anti-Malware.
