  2. Rootkit Revealer

FYI...These are a few other of the easier and safer ARKS for novice users:

    -- Note:
    Malwarebytes
uses a proprietary low level driver similar to some anti-rootkit (ARK) scanners to locate hidden files and
special techniques which enable it to detect a wide spectrum of threats including active rootkits,

    zero-day malware
and malware in the wild. The anti-rootkit technology in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.x/3.x is identical to that of Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit (mbar).
SUPERAntiSpyware Free offers technology to deal with rootkit infections as well. Both of these scanners are easy enough for any novice to safely
    use.

  3. AFX Rootkit

    Hi

I have the same problem. I tried a scan with panda, stinger, malwarebytes anti rootkit and kaspersky. They find nothing. Only unhack me gives the rootkit result.

    Any one a suggestion?

    Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit

After running a Malwarebytes Anti-rootkit program on my windows 10 PC, I have found that certain programs will not open ,particularly CCleaner.

    Do you mean

    Anti-Rootkit BETA - Free Rootkit Scanner & Remover ?

If so then you should know that Malwarebytes support told me in an email** that this tool was only ever intended to be run on a computer that was so badly infected that the proper Malwarebytes Antimalware application could not
be run. The anti-rootkit tools in the Malwarebytes Antimalware application itself are the ones to use if you can get it installed & running.

** "The only time to use the stand alone MBAR is when MBAM will not open or run. the same tech is included, in fact, it’s better in the MBAM package."

Did you run this Beta tool as an experiment / routine precaution or are you suffering from malware? Does the
Malwarebytes Antimalware application itself give you a clean bill of health?

If the Clean boot, DISM & CCleaner reinstallation steps suggested do not work then [as long as your computer is free of malware] the next thing to try would be a
Repair install, also called an In-Place Upgrade - that is, run the Windows 10 installation disk's setup file from within Windows 10 [rather than by booting from the disk as that would initiate
    a full installation].
