  1. Malwarebytes exploit block. I have many questions.

I was doing fine today as normal on my computer and shut it off to go to work. Usual stuff I would do.When I got home I turned on my computer and suddenly Malwarebytes stopped an exploit attack when I got onto my main desktop. I am a little concerned that this exploit may have effected other people in my household and I am not sure if it was targeted to just me.I have the log details from Malwarebytes if it is needed to know what happened. I am concerned about being compromised or my family also being compromised.Sorry if this may be the wrong place, I just need answers and had no idea where

    :)

  2. ROP exploit blocked by Malwarebytes every time I open Edge

Hi, I have a problem that I have not encountered before with MS Edge. I use Malwarebytes Anti exploit to protect my browsers on my PC and today it has been blocking a 'ROP exploit' of MSEdge and add ons every time I open Edge which is the default if I type
in a search from start page/Cortana. The start/home page also fails to remain open.

Can anyone please enlighten me ? My PC knowledge is limited and I do not understand why this 'exploit' warning from Malwarebytes has suddenly started appearing.

I have posted a question in the Malwarebytes forum but have not received a reply so far.

  3. Malwarebytes anti-exploit free

Thanks. I did, but didn't find anything like my problem which may be related to Windows updates.

The software you suggest, I take it, is a direct alternative to Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit.

    Malwarebytes anti-exploit free

    Hi again Bruce.

I tried to uninstall MBAE from Control Panel and to make sure it had all gone I downloaded Revo Uninstaller as you suggested. When I ran it, though, MBAE did not appear in the list that appeared (although MB AntiMalware did). Also, nothing comes up in
Cortana now and I haven't had any messages about MBAE not running, so I perhaps I can assume that it has all gone.

I thought I'd try HitmanPro Alert, as suggested earlier, but I'll hang on for a while to see if I get any suggestions from the Malwarebytes forum.

Hopefully, in the meantime and not having any 'anti-exploit' protection I'll be fairly safe.

EMET or Malwarebytes Anti exploit?: Just wondering what people are using for Windows 10? Apparently EMET can be easily exploited in Windows 10 and MB Anti exploit is recommended over it.
