    MalwareBytes scheduled scan editing bug

I am running MalwareBytes premium 4.1.2.73 (latest version). I am running it on Windows 10 Pro Ver 19040.450.

MWB is running fine, but there is an irritating bug with the scheduled scan editor. I find it very clunky, in that if you want to change the frequency or times of a scan, you can do it OK, but the UI does NOT dynamically pick up the changes when you come out of editing mode, so it gives the impression that your changes have not taken, but they have!

This seems to be a very basic error/omission.

You have to come right out of the main user GUI "dashboard", and start it up again to see your changes.

Where is the best place to report this minor (but irritating) bug?

    :)

SCHEDULE A SCAN FOR WINDOWS DEFENDER

I don’t run scheduled scans with WD – I prefer occasional “manual” Quick Scans with WD or with Malwarebytes Free.

But if you’re wanting to run scheduled scans on a regular basis with WD suggest you review the

  3. What is the meaning of "idle" with scheduled scans?

Whoops! In trying to edit the scheduled scans times in Task Scheduler, I accidentally deleted the Windows Defender Scheduled Scan from the list of tasks in the broad column shown above. Can I/do I need to reinstate it, please? (Case of a fool rushing
    in etc. ....).

Otherwise, thanks again for the helpful advice.

Windows Defender scheduled scans failing with 0x2 error

In addition if you want to run a scheduled scan I suggest Malwarebytes free scanner to get maximum bang for the byte. It is the definitive Word while Defender is just a competent AV.
