    Manage Wi-Fi Settings Mistake

    Under the Manage Wi-Fi Settings... Manage Known Networks, I made a mistake and selected "FORGET" and then "APPLY". Afterwards, my Wi-Fi connection was not recognized. I connected the ethernet cable to the router and was back on the internet but it did not restore the router name in the Manage Known Networks. How can I restore the router name in that box?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 update is stuck at 0%

    Another thing you should check if by mistake, your internet has become Metered Connection blocking the update.

    Network & Internet -> WI-FI -> Manage known networks -> <Select your WI-FI> -> Properties -> Set as Metered Connection <On/Off> ->OFF

    Manage wi-fi settings

    Is their a setting for the default Wi-Fi setting. I have problem with my customer's changing the Wi-Fi setting. At 'Restart' can their be a default Wi-Fi adapter setting? Example our default setting is 'waanet_n' for whatever the reason, restart, user,
    loss of power, the restart defaults to the service provider, i.e. Century Link, xfinity, etc. I need the default to reflect its private network. I use Surface for my file sharing.

    On my laptop when I click on the network icon on the lower left I get a list of all the networks that are available. From there it's just a matter of signing in to the network I want to use.
