    Managed to reset Win10 Pro PC to 1809. How do I stop it from Updating past 1809


    Pretty much what I just asked in the title. My computer has been crashing left and right so I reset it. Luckly enough, the Windows verison was 1809. Now I am on Windows 10 Pro 64bit. How can I stop this machine from moving up to 1809? Actually could it be the reason it kept crashing. Becaues Microsoft was trying to get me to move to a newer flavor?

    Of course the reason why I don't want to move past 1809 is because I don't want any issues with 3D vision. 3D Vision lets me play my games in 3D with some tweaks on Nvidia drivers since they don't support it anymore

    Also what are some good imaging software I can use to image my computer in its 1809 in case I need to go back again? Clonezilla is no longer a favorite of mine because it switches the names of the HDDs depending on what drives you have plugged in making it hard to restore successfully

    i7-930 @ 3.8 to 4Ghz

    12GB 1600mhz ram

    GTX 1080 Ti

    Samsung 830 128GB SDD, Adata SU 800 GB SSD

    Asrock X-58 extreme 3 mobo, Corsair Rm750

    After updating my BIOS (Asus Z170i Pro Gaming) from 1806 to 1809 I can not see fan speeds

    After updating my BIOS (Asus Z170i Pro Gaming) from 1806 to 1809 I can not see fan speeds in HWMonitor.

    i7-6700k

    Asus Z170i Pro Gaming.

    My BIOS version was 1806 and a few minutes ago I have updated it to 1806.

    Using HWMonitor I can not see fan speeds anymore.

    Why?.

    1809 Update

    Hello, since the update to 1809 I can no longer access the Startup Settings options. When windows restarts the screen is frozen and cannot choose the numbered options or anything, always have to press reset button on PC. Anyone else having this issue?

    Windows 10 Pro 1709 update to 1803, 1809 or 1903?

    I am using Windows 10 Pro 1709 (OS build 16299.1087).

    The update settings are as follows:

    • "Semi-Annual Channel"
    • 365 days delay of feature updates
    • 30 days delay of quality updates

    Now Windows has downloaded update 1803 x64 2019-07B and wants to install it by restart. However, I have postponed this so far.

    Since I use my PC professionally I want a stable running system.

    I know that there quality and stability issues with 1803 and 1809. So my question is: Should I update to 1803, 1809 or 1903 to get the most stable system?
