Windows 10: Manifest file is missing

Since the Windows update of 10/21/2020 the following has happened: on booting, error states "manifest file is missing" and displays the address Windows/system32/tower_main. In addition, system does not save passwords beyond the session, i.e. you have to put in passwords including OneDrive every time you boot.


My computer is an ASUS Transformer laptop, 64-bit, last minor updates to Windows 10/23/2020.

Were do I find missing Manifest files in CheckSUR.log

My CheckSUR.log for windows 7 shows two missing Manifests. The online help says to get them from another machine. I only have one PC, so how do I find these files?

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
