  1. Manually update from 1809 (10.0.17763.1012) to 1903 (10.0.18362.611)

My pc does not update to 1903/1909. It's now on 1809.

"System Thread Exception Not Handled" BSOD and the update is rolled back. No driver .sys is mentioned so I don't have a clue what is failing.

I'm afraid since the kernel changed and a lot of other stuff my pc is outdated.

Is there a way to do this update manually instead of a cumulative update to see where it fails?

As support for 1809 is going to end soon I would like to update manually. But KB4505057 does not install, since it's for 1903. I thought it would bump the build number from 17763.1012 to 18362.611

Or anybody else has an idea?

  2. Window's 10 Build 1903 is not updated on system information.

    Hi JBrooks,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

Windows 10 1903 is build 18362. The system information does not show Windows 10 version. Please check Settings>System>About and under windows specifications, you would see Windows 10 1903 Build 18362.

    17763:1809

    18362:1903

    18363:1909 (probably)

    Hope that helps.

What build version is Windows 10 Update 1903?

    Hi MrSleazey,

    build 17763 is 1809

    1903 should be 18362

there should not be a watermark on the desktop.

to check the version installed go to settings -> system -> about

    look at windows specifications

  4. Manually update from 1809 (10.0.17763.1012) to 1903 (10.0.18362.611)

    1809 Update stuck at 0%

I have freed up space on my Toshiba tablet, downloaded and installed 1809 and chose to restart.

It all went well going to 100%, but then restarted again and for 30 minutes now "Woking on updates" has been stuck at 0%.

I am loathe to force a restart but has 1809 bricked my Toshiba tablet?

    Help!!!
