  1. Mapped Drives keep breaking on every boot or restart

Every time I start my PC or do a restart, it always has issues connecting to my NAS.

An error has occurred while reconnecting X: to -IP address here-

Microsoft Windows Network: The local device is already in use

This connection has not been restored

    And also this error

You might not have permissions to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Multiple connections to a server or a shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again

The only fix for this that I have disconnect and then map the drive again with the same credentials or sign off the user account and sign in again.

And this issue seems to happen on my desktop. My laptop doesn't have this same issue. Both are running version 20H2 with the difference being my Desktop is using Pro and laptop on Home edition.

Any solution to fix this annoying problem?

    Mapped Drives Issues

To clarify .... the issue is the Windows 10 OS. It is with Windows File Explorer. The Mapped drives used to appear in File Explorer's left panel list of drives and folders. Two days ago File explorer stopped show the mapped drives. so not they don;t appear in the list of Drives and folders.

I did, it has no effect. I also check the NAS devices they support SMB 2.0. Also I have several other computers on my home network they work fine with the mapped drives and They do not have SMB 1 turned on. So it is something that happened to the computer in question.

Mapped Drives keep breaking on every boot or restart

mapped drives do not stay mapped upon boot

Am attempting to keep my mapped drives connected. Think the PC boots too fast for network card to connect before mapped drives try. Have tried slowing boot down but that does not help. Have also changed Function Discovery services to no avail.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
