Windows 10: Mapped Network Drive Says "This Folder Is Empty" while also showing 1.5TB of data on drive

I have a network drive setup that I use to load media files onto a server. Up until about 24 hours ago I was able to move files to it, but now when I open the Network Drive it says there are no files there. Simultaneously, I am able to view/watch/load every single file that exists on that server on other devices; so it's not an issue with the server but with Windows blocking my access to it. I've gone through just about every "fix" that shows up when searching the internet, and none of the "fixes" have actually accomplished anything.

Renaming problem during mapping User folders to the network drives

No it's not. It's all subfolders of 5TB NAS. But Win 10 recognizes all subfolders as whole HDD because I don't set the size limit of these folders.

And what you saw on the bottom left is the list of network drives I mapped from NAS, not the list of subfolders.

Yes, all of subfolder list is basically Quick Access shortcuts, but the problem is I cannot change the name of the shortcuts.

 

Mapped Drives Issues

To clarify .... the issue is the Windows 10 OS. It is with Windows File Explorer. The Mapped drives used to appear in File Explorer's left panel list of drives and folders. Two days ago File explorer stopped show the mapped drives. so not they don;t appear in the list of Drives and folders.

I did, it has no effect. I also check the NAS devices they support SMB 2.0. Also I have several other computers on my home network they work fine with the mapped drives and They do not have SMB 1 turned on. So it is something that happened to the computer in question.

 

Mapped Network Drive Disconnects and Will Not Reconnect

OS:Windows 10 V20H2
PC: Dell XPS8940
Router: Netgear R7000 w/ TomatoUSB

• Nine of ten mapped network drives on my desktop PC behave normally! The tenth is a problem. It is mapped to the USB drive connected to my router.
• Sometimes (days) I cannot connect to this mapped drive and it fails to reconnect. At that point I can still connect to this drive from ALL other devices on my Workgroup LAN. None of those devices have the drive mapped!
• For a short time, using "Net Use" shows the drive trying reconnect. Later it says "Disconnected".
• The only way I have found to reconnect to that drive is to perform:
  1. net use U: /delete
  2. net use U: \\HARENET-HD\data
• This problem has started within the last several months. Maybe it's related to a Windows update??

Help would be appreciated!
