    Maps App has Outdated Maps


    Is it possible to update the maps/satellite imagery in the Windows Map App? When compared to the data on bing.com/maps, the Windows Map App is woefully out of date.

    Maps are outdated

    Dear Microsoft Community,



    • I am using NOKIA LUMIA 830
    • OS Build: 10.0.14393.1480
    • HERE Maps: Maps 5.1705.1391.0
    • Country: INDIA
    Even on PC, BING MAPS are outdated than HERE WeGo MAPS and HERE WeGo MAPS are outdated than Google MAPS,

    Almost a difference in locations is approximately of six months to two years.

    Not once but many times, while using Here Maps for directions I was stuck in narrow passages where there are no roads in present or roads have changed.

    • As app, are you using HERE Maps or Windows Maps?

    Hi, if you're referring to the UWP Maps app that comes with Windows, then please realise these apps use a new programming model that does not use exe's and dll's.

    To launch the Maps app you have these URI's:

    bingmaps:
    ms-drive-to:
    ms-walk-to:
