Windows 10: Maps location is broken, no matter what steps I find on the internet to fix it!

Maps shows me in a very small town for the last few weeks. I have never been close to there. I have moved from Patterson WA, to Mt Hood Or, then to Rainier Or and now to Tillamook Or. Maps still shows me in someplace called Hoquaim Wa, around 106 miles north of my current location. I have reset the maps app, changed the default location, turned location services on and off and back on. Rebooted. Uninstalled my VPN software just in case Googled everything about maps and bad location, followed all the "fix" steps, none of them actually fix it. My laptop doesn't have GPS, I even boug

• Type Location privacy settings in search bar
  and click on Location privacy settings.
• Here you can enable/disable the Location.
• You may try to Enable/Disable the Maps app to use the
  location or not from the apps list.

the stepping is fixed its built in to the cpu is like a revision on a chip....i think you mean multiplyer?

 

Maps app can not determine my location

I suggest that you follow the steps provided below:

1. Press and hold Windows + I buttons and open Settings.

2. Look for the Location tab and click on it.

3. On the left side, look for “Allow apps to access your location”.

4. Toggle ON the switch below.

5. Scroll down to see the list of app that you allow access to your location.

6. Look for Maps to make sure that the switch in ON.
