Windows 10: Mass Deletion of Non-Consecutive cells in Excel

I'm struggling with deleting multiple cells containing different values. Each time, I have to manually select, filter, and delete the specific values, which becomes increasingly challenging as the number of values exceeds 1,000. Is there a way to delete all these values at once?

N.B.

• You can replace values in Split("2-4-6",,) with required Column
  numbers like Split("1-3-5").
  
• Column's order must be Ascending.
  
• With Sheet1, is also editable.

Realize Excel is not designed to be a word document. Typically, a cell would hold a title or some short text far less then 255 characters. With that if you need far more than the cell limitation, you could either insert a Word document... Insert an object in your Excel spreadsheet. There's also the option to link to documents such as Word, PDF or website from within Excel *Wink At the end of the day, you're not going to overcome the cell limit, so I suggest you look for alternatives as suggested above. Formatting Cells in Excel - Windows Phone

The default replacement on touch screen devices of the right click is just holding down until the context menu (the dropdown list of possible actions at the place you touched) appears. In the mobile version of Excel however, there is first of all an other
style of context menu when you hold down on a cell or selection of cells, which contains just the basic actions like copy, past, clear and fill. The 'delete' function has not been added to the context menu but is still present in the 'Home' tab. (On the desktop
version of Excel it is present in both places.)

If you don't see a set of properties and functions at the bottom of your screen, tap the '...' icon, unfolding the ribbon. In the top left of the ribbon there is a list menu, by default on the tab 'Home'. Clicking it allows you to go to an other tab.

Select the cell or cells you want to delete, make sure you are on the 'Home' tab and scroll down until you see the "Insert & Delete" option, in this section you will find the functions for deleting cells (i.e. for deleting the whole row or column and for
deleting just one cell and filling up that space by shifting the cells to the right left or cells to the bottom up).

(In case you got confused about the difference of 'Delete' and 'Clear': We were talking in this thread about clearing cells, removing the content it contained. Deleting means moving other cells around as to remove a certain cell or cells from the Excel sheet.
The 'Clear' function is accessible both in the context menu as well as in the 'Home' tab.)
