Windows 10: Matshita DVD drive on my toshiba tecra laptop

I have a Matshita DVD drive on my toshiba tecra laptop but it stopped working no flicking light, door not respond to open no "eject" only I hear 4 small sound at once when I boot the laptop . Everything in the device manager is ok - I guess it is a hard where failure not from windows 10 - it was working smoothly but now stopped at all I updated the drive but windows 10 said you have the right driver installed also I installed the dvd driver the installed it again but dvd doesn't work and no light at the green lamp which indicate that it's working
