    Several apps crashing after 2-3 seconds

    Hi all,

    I got a big problem with Windows 10 apps, that will start (empty window appears), and crash after 2-3 seconds.

    * The system has been CLEAN INSTALLED without any third-party software (except third-party apps, which crash as well).

    * SFC /scannow had no effect.

    * Reinstalling the apps had no effect.

    * Get-AppXPackage | ForEach..... had no effect.

    The problem in detail:

    - Edge crashes when an InPrivate windows is opened and any search requested.

    - App store crashes from time to time

    - Microsoft Photos crashes when scrolling through the library. Event Viewer says:

    Calculator App and Store App are crashing with same error code 0x00000004 after starting them

    Hi community,

    I upgraded to Win10 from Win7. It was never possible to run the Calculator App. The App starts but just before the GUI is created the App closes/crashes.

    Today I wanted use the Store App and get the same behaviour. Some weeks ago the Store App worked. Hmm.

    I opened to Event Viewer and found that both Apps are crashing with same error number. I could not find any useful information in the internet.

    MAUI Blazor Hybrid App is crashing with Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: KERNELBASE.dll

    Update KB4056892 made my Windows 10 unusable, because many programs crash with CoreMessaging.dll error.

    As long as I do not install KB4056892, everything works fine, but when I install it, my system becomes unusable. I uninstalled and reinstalled the update (multiple times) to see if it is the problem and it is. A lot programs do not work
    anymore and crash while starting, e.g.:

    • Thunderbird (incl. the Thunderbird Chrashreporter)
    • VLC
    • IrfanView
    • Notepad++
    • GPU-Z
    • Dell Display Manager
    • Flux
    • GoogleUpdateCore
    • and most/all installers!

    The Error Protocol looks always the same (removed some generic informations to keep it short):

    Further investigation:

    • The error offset is always the same: 0x000306f0
    • It seems to be a 32bit only Problem, only!64Bit programs do not crash, as far as I could test it:
      • I installed IrfanView64 and the installer and program worked.
      • I use Firefox as 64bit version, and it works, too.
    • I've tried setting "FeatureSettingsOverride" (0-3) and "FeatureSettingsOverrideMask" (3) in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management, but with no positive results.

    I need a solution for the crashes, otherwise I have to deinstall the update regularely, which sucks.
