  1. Max Password age requirement CMD

from what i understood, from now on in windows any local account with a password will automatically ask for a password reset every 42 days by default. I am aware that you can run gpedit, and change MAX age to 0 using the dialog box to turn this off.if you run CMD as administrator, you can run the following:net accounts /maxpwage:90--ENTER--to set the pw expiration to 90 days or 40 days, 900 days, etc by changing the number.HOWEVER, you can not run:net accounts /maxpwage:0as a shortcut to turn the max password age to 0 without errors in cmd, yet you can go thru all of the menus and use the di

    Age requirement

    Hi
    AakashRohila
    ,

The legal adult age requirement varies by Country and Region.

At Microsoft, an account is defined by age categories.

    Ex: US Region

    • Young child: Anyone under the age of 8
    • Child: Ages 8 through 12
    • Teen: Ages 13 through 17 (or 19 in South Korea)
    • Adult: Ages 18 above

    Hope this will help.

Local Group Policy Max/Min password age not working (Win 10 Pro v1903)

Hello Sean, and welcome to Ten Forums. *Smile

It is required to enable password expiration policy to enforce the the max and min password age policy.

Enable or Disable Password Expiration for Local Accounts in Windows 10

Change Maximum and Minimum Password Age for Local Accounts in Windows 10

This will not affect a Microsoft account though. You would need to use the method below for a Microsoft account instead.

Enable or Disable Password Expiration for Your Microsoft Account
