    Max RAM of BIOS in win10 x64


    Now here is the problem:My computer is in win10 x64 ,and I installed 2 8GB RAM into my computer, also my BIOS tells me that in the two DIMM Memory SPD, the part name is KHX1600C10D3/8G.So the BIOS may have “see” my new RAM, but when I went in the MSI mainboard setting > System status > System Information , It shows the Physical Memory is only 4GB, and my computer also only see 4GB but there should be 16GB, right?Can anyone please tell me what’s wrong?Pls

    Hi,

    To better assist you, please answer the questions below.

    • What is the full specifications of your computer?
    • Which type of RAM are you trying to install?
    • Have you checked if the total RAM is detected in the BIOS?
    • Have you tried installing just the 8 Gb RAM and see if the system detects it?

    We suggest that you contact the computer manufacturer for information on how to enter the BIOS and how to set the default settings. Also, you can ask them if there is an available update for the BIOS.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
